We collect information you provide when registering and using the platform:
- Account information (name, email, company, phone)
- Employee records uploaded by agency administrators
- Usage data (pages visited, features used, error logs)
- Payment information (processed by Intasend — we do not store card numbers)
- Communications sent through the platform
02How We Use Your Data
- To provide and improve the Pinch HR service
- To send transactional emails (leave approvals, invitations, announcements)
- To process subscription payments
- To generate anonymised analytics for platform improvements
- To comply with legal obligations under Kenyan law
04Data Retention
We retain your data while your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, data is retained for 30 days then permanently deleted. You may request deletion at any time by contacting legal@pinch.africa.
05Your Rights
Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to:
- Access personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Object to processing for marketing purposes
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner
06Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data at rest and in transit (HTTPS/TLS), role-based access controls, and regular security audits. However, no system is 100% secure — please protect your login credentials.
